Lava has released the budget smartphone Shark 2 Pro 5G with a 6000 mAh battery and 50 MP camera

Ahead of the holiday season, a trio of new gadgets was unveiled in the Indian market. The local company Ai+ Smartphone released the Pulse 2 FE smartphone, NovaTab 5G tablet, and the Nova LapTab device. The company expanded its range by presenting not only a phone but also larger devices such as tablets and laptops. The starting price for all three devices is 9,999 rupees, and sales will begin on October 7th.

The Pulse 2 FE smartphone is the centerpiece of this launch. The model with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage is priced at 9,999 rupees. The phone features a 6.67-inch HD Plus display with 120Hz refresh rate support, ensuring smooth scrolling and general use. It is equipped with a Mediatek Helio G81 processor, and storage capacity can be expanded up to 1TB.

The rear camera of the smartphone has a resolution of 50 megapixels, while the front camera is 8 megapixels; the main camera operates with artificial intelligence-based functions. The battery holds 5,000mAh and supports 18W charging. The device has an IP64 rating, and the fingerprint scanner is located on the side. The smartphone is available in black, blue, green, and purple, runs on Android 16 with the proprietary nxtQ OS skin.

In addition to the phone, the company introduced its first 5G tablet, the NovaTab. Its starting price for the model with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage is 17,999 rupees after considering bank offers. A more powerful version with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage will cost 20,999 rupees. The NovaTab features an 11.97-inch screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, is powered by the Unisock T760 processor, has an 8,000mAh battery, and supports 18W charging. It supports both 5G and Wi-Fi, and the rear and front cameras have resolutions of 13 megapixels and 8 megapixels, respectively. The tablet is also equipped with dual stereo speakers and is designed for studying, video viewing, and daily tasks.

The most interesting device of the presentation was the Nova LapTab. Its price for the configuration with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage is 24,999 rupees, including current bank offers. This gadget features a 13.2-inch display with 2.4K resolution, supporting a 90Hz refresh rate and a 3:2 aspect ratio, with a maximum brightness of 450 nits. The Nova LapTab is designed not only as a tablet but also for use as a laptop, as it supports a stylus and the ability to connect an external keyboard, allowing it to be used for notes, studying, or work like a large computer.

The Nova LapTab uses a Mediatek MT 8755 processor, a large 10,000mAh battery, and supports 33W charging. It is equipped with four speakers and supports both 5G and Wi-Fi. The rear and front cameras have resolutions of 16 megapixels and 8 megapixels, respectively. The device will be available in lilac green and dark blue colors.

Sales of all three new models will commence on October 7, 2026, at 23:59 via Flipkart order. The launch occurred before Diwali, so the company decided to present the market not only with a phone but also with devices that can function as tablets and laptops. The listed prices are 9,999 rupees for the Pulse 2 FE, starting from 17,999 rupees for the NovaTab, and 24,999 rupees for the Nova LapTab. It should be noted that the prices listed for the NovaTab and Nova LapTab include bank offers, so the actual purchase cost may differ from the nominal price.

The most distinctive feature of the Virat Curve 5G is its mini-screen on the back panel. This small display is located next to the camera module and shows information such as time, battery percentage, volume, and notifications. Users can also customize their own text and emojis on this screen. The advantage of this feature is that users do not need to activate the main screen of the smartphone every time to view the time, charge level, or important alerts.

Curved AMOLED Display with 120Hz Refresh Rate

To ensure performance in the LAVA Virat Curve 5G, the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 5G processor on a 6nm process is used. It works in conjunction with 6GB of LPDDR5 RAM and a 128GB UFS 2.2 storage drive. The phone also supports up to 6GB of virtual memory. Regarding the battery, it has a capacity of 6000mAh and supports 45W fast charging, although the charger supplied in the box is 33W. According to the company, the phone can provide up to 55 hours of talk time and up to 660 minutes of YouTube playback.

The smartphone runs on Android 16. Lava guarantees two years of operating system updates and three years of security updates. The company also stated that the device does not have pre-installed software or advertising. Furthermore, the phone has an IP64 rating, MIL-STD-810H military standard certification, an in-display fingerprint sensor, face recognition function, an infrared emitter, and dual stereo speakers. The device weighs 184 grams and has a thickness of 8.55 mm.

iQOO has introduced an updated and more budget-friendly version of its popular smartphone to meet the demand for new 5G devices priced under twenty thousand rupees. The new variant, iQOO Z11 Lite 5G, is now available with a configuration of 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage for the price of 17,499 rupees. The company reduced the starting price by decreasing the device's storage capacity.

However, the main specifications of the phone remain unchanged. It is equipped with a large 6500 mAh battery, 44W fast charging support, a 120Hz refresh rate display, a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, and a 50MP Sony camera. Thus, even in the cheapest version, the core hardware set is preserved.

The iQOO Z11 Lite 5G was first launched in the Indian market in July. At that time, it was offered in three variants: 4GB RAM + 128GB, 6GB RAM + 128GB, and 6GB RAM + 256GB. Now, the company has added a fourth option—4GB RAM + 64GB—which sells for 17,499 rupees and is already listed on Amazon.

It should be noted that promotional banners on Amazon sometimes show an effective price as low as 15,999 rupees. However, this price should be considered possible only with participation in promotions or bank discounts, not as the standard retail price.

The main change in the new variant is the reduction of storage capacity to 64GB, which might seem insufficient for users who actively save photos, videos, and applications. Nevertheless, the device supports memory expansion via a microSD card, which can mitigate the issue for users with moderate needs.

As compensation for the smaller storage, the phone received a 6500 mAh battery and 44W fast charging support. According to iQOO statements, charging for 10 minutes can provide about eight hours of talk time or over seven hours of online video viewing. This indicates that the company places great emphasis on the battery, beyond simply offering an inexpensive 5G device.

The iQOO Z11 Lite 5G features a 6.74-inch HD+ LCD display. It boasts a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of up to 1200 nits. The high refresh rate ensures a smoother feel during scrolling and general screen use. It is important to note that this is not an AMOLED screen. If superior black levels and contrast are a priority, this phone may fall short compared to other models in this aspect.

The rear panel is fitted with a 50-megapixel Sony camera module, and a 5MP front camera is provided for selfies. The camera also includes artificial intelligence features. The phone runs on OriginOS 6, based on Android 16. iQOO guarantees users two years of operating system updates and four years of security updates. Furthermore, the phone supports features such as Google Gemini and AI Creation.

For performance, the iQOO Z11 Lite 5G uses the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, which was also installed in the initial versions of the phone. Information regarding a processor change is absent in the new 4GB/64GB configuration model. The phone also has an IP65 rating, providing protection against dust and water splashes, although this does not mean it is waterproof.

If 64GB of storage is not enough, there are other alternatives to the iQOO Z11 Lite. According to current data, the model with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage starts at approximately 19,590 rupees, while models with 6GB RAM (both 128GB and 256GB) have a higher cost. Prices may vary depending on offers and the marketplace.
