The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, today presented appointments to 1375 employees of the gram panchayats. Congratulating the youth, he noted that while one young person receives an appointment, it brings joy to thousands of families, emphasizing that it is this youth who makes a significant contribution to changing the face of Uttar Pradesh.
In his speech, the minister mentioned Uttar Pradesh before 2017, calling the state a 'sick state' with little recognition in the country. He recounted that in those times, when government job announcements were made, there was disappointment among youth from poor families, and children from such families could not even dream of public service.
Yogi Adityanath stated that after coming to power in 2017, a resolve was taken to restore pride and opportunities to the state's youth. According to him, emphasis was placed on the transparency of the recruitment process, and a system was established to provide government positions to the youth without any bribes. The minister also mentioned changes in the state's economy, noting that Uttar Pradesh is writing a new chapter in India's economic growth and is among the country's fast-developing economies.
The appointment of 1375 gram panchayat employees is considered an important event for the rural-level administrative system. Gram panchayat employees play a role in implementing plans and administrative tasks at the village level. It is expected that the appointment of new officials will help advance the work in the gram panchayats.
