Godrej Properties has signed an agreement to develop a plot of land covering approximately 2.5 acres in the Marine Lines area of South Mumbai. An elite residential complex will be built here, which is preliminarily estimated to generate a total revenue of approximately 60 billion rupees for the company.
Marine Lines is one of the old and established residential areas of Mumbai. According to the company, demand for housing in this area remains strong among high-income clients. Buyer interest in high-quality luxury homes is confirmed by the response to other premium projects in South Mumbai.
Gaurav Panday, Chairman and CEO of Godrej, noted that Mumbai remains an important market for the company, and its premium and elite projects consistently enjoy good demand. He expressed confidence in the sustained high demand for quality housing in prime locations in Mumbai and shared his enthusiasm about including the Marine Lines project in its portfolio.
The company stated that this Marine Lines project will strengthen Godrej's presence in South and Central Mumbai, as the company places particular emphasis on elite residential projects in these areas. With this project, the company expands its residential real estate portfolio in Mumbai.

According to the company, over 100,000 families have already purchased homes through it, and the volume of sales of residential space in its projects exceeds 30 million square feet.
