Cooler mornings are beginning to appear across the United Arab Emirates as autumn sets in, with temperatures dropping below 20°C in some areas.
According to data from the National Center of Meteorology, the lowest temperature recorded in the UAE on Monday, September 28, was 18.6°C in the city of Rakkna, Al Ain, at 6 AM.
This drop is linked to residents beginning to feel the first signs of seasonal changes. From an astronomical perspective, summer officially ended on September 23 with the autumnal equinox, marking the start of a gradual transition to cooler conditions.
Earlier this month, the UAE had already recorded a similar temperature decrease: on September 18, the temperature fell to 18.8°C, just a few days before the equinox.
