According to data from the National Statistical Committee of Uzbekistan, during the period from January to June 2026, Uzbekistan's construction sector attracted 27.2 trillion soums in foreign investments and loans for fixed assets.
Construction accounted for 10.5% of the total volume of foreign investments and loans used in the country during this period. The total amount of attracted funds reached 259 trillion soums.
Compared to the same period in 2025, the volume of investments and loans directed to construction increased by 2.4 times. Previously, in January-June 2025, the sector received 11.2 trillion soums.
An analysis of data from recent years shows significant fluctuations in the volume of funds attracted for construction. In 2022, this amount was 3.2 trillion soums, then it rose to 4.4 trillion soums in 2023 and to 15.3 trillion soums in 2024. In 2025, the indicator decreased to 11.2 trillion soums before reaching 27.2 trillion soums in the first half of 2026.
