How to make aloe vera gel at home: a natural alternative to expensive store-bought products

Aloe vera gel is widely used at home to improve skin radiance, reduce acne, and nourish hair. However, commercial gels often contain artificial dyes, chemicals, and preservatives, which can harm sensitive skin, and they are also quite expensive.

Instead of buying costly cosmetic products with chemical additives, you can prepare a 100% pure, fresh, and natural gel right at home using ingredients from the kitchen and garden. This gel not only deeply moisturizes the skin, giving it a natural glow, but also makes hair shinier and stronger. There are two simple and effective ways to prepare it.

The following components are needed for preparation: 1-2 fresh aloe vera leaves, 1/2 teaspoon of vitamin E oil (or 2 vitamin E capsules), 1 teaspoon of rose water, and 2-3 drops of tea tree or lavender essential oil (optional).

First, the aloe vera leaf should be cut from the plant and left standing vertically for 10-15 minutes to allow the yellow toxic sap to drain out. After that, the leaf is thoroughly washed.

Next, the prickly edges of the leaf are removed, and then the top skin is peeled off with a knife. The white and transparent aloe pulp is scooped into a bowl with a spoon.

This pulp is placed in a blender bowl together with rose water and vitamin E oil and blended for 10-15 seconds. The resulting smooth gel is transferred to a clean and dry glass jar.

After this, the jar must be placed in the refrigerator. Stored this way, the gel remains fresh for 3-4 weeks.
