The documentary film 'Youth of the Silk Road: Uzbekistan,' which is dedicated to the cultural ties and friendship between the peoples of Uzbekistan and China, was presented in Beijing, according to the news agency Dunyo.
The production of the film was carried out with the support of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in China in cooperation with the Dolphin Books publishing house, which belongs to the China International Communications Group (CICG).
Representatives from CICG, the China Energy Engineering Corporation (CEEC), the National Association of Media of Uzbekistan, the Embassy of Uzbekistan in China, and various mass media outlets attended the event.
During the premiere, participants emphasized the importance of historical ties between Uzbekistan and China along the Silk Road, as well as the role of youth in the future development of relations between the two countries. Special attention was paid to the influence of mass media on strengthening bilateral ties and shaping mutual perception between the peoples.
The film explores the relationship between Uzbekistan and China through the stories of young people, focusing on their daily lives, joint work, and striving to achieve set goals.
The documentary is divided into two parts. The first part, titled 'Path to Light,' highlights new projects implemented by the China Energy Engineering Corporation in Uzbekistan, as well as the work of young Chinese engineers and CEEC employees from Uzbekistan.
The second part, 'Where Dreams Return,' tells the story of students from Uzbekistan who are studying and starting entrepreneurial activities in China, demonstrating their efforts to realize professional and personal plans.
Furthermore, the film showcases examples of cultural exchange, trade and economic cooperation, as well as investment partnership between Uzbekistan and China.
After the screening, it was announced that the documentary film will be broadcast on television channels and placed on social networks in both Uzbekistan and China.
