The Migration Agency of Uzbekistan reported that Uzbekistan and Belarus held discussions on the organized employment of Uzbek citizens in Belarus, including the Vitebsk region.
The Director of the Migration Agency, Mukhsinhodja Abdurakhmanov, met with the Ambassador of Belarus to Uzbekistan, Alexander Ogorodnikov.
During the meeting, it was noted that employers from the Vitebsk region reported a need for approximately 800 workers. A list of 204 people was compiled after reviewing the documents of candidates from the Andzhyan region.
It is expected that candidates from other regions of Uzbekistan will be included in the selection process. Vacancies are available in the fields of animal husbandry, tractor operation, driving, and auxiliary work. At the initial stage, the documents and professional skills of the applicants are being verified.
The final selection will be carried out through online interviews with Belarusian employers. Furthermore, it was proposed during the meeting to consider the possibility of employers covering the citizens' travel expenses to the workplace in advance.
