The national men's chess team of Uzbekistan secured its ninth victory at the Chess Olympiad by defeating Armenia with a score of 3.5-0.5 in the tenth round of the tournament.
In the match, Nodirbek Abdusattorov won against Hayk Martirosyan; Javhohir Sidorov defeated Robert Hovhannisyan; and Mukhiddin Madaminov beat Gabriel Sargisan. The game between Nodirbek Yakubboev and Shant Sargisan ended in a draw.
This victory marks the team's ninth win in this tournament. Thanks to it, the national team earned two more points for the match and maintains the lead in the overall standings with 16 points.
The second and third teams of Uzbekistan also participated in the tenth round. Uzbekistan-2 lost to India with a score of 0.5-3.5. In this game, Jakhongir Vakhidov lost to R. Praggnanandhaa, Abdisalim Abdimalik drew with Arjun Erigaisi, Muhammadzohid Suyarov lost to Nihal Sarin, and Ortik Nigmatov lost to Gukesh D.
Uzbekistan-3 conceded to Israel with a score of 1.5-2.5. Saidakbar Saidaliyev lost to Maxim Rodstein, Bahrom Bahrillayev lost to Avital Borukhovsky, Almas Rakhmatullaev drew with Yachli Sokolovsky, and Muhammadali Abdurakhmonov defeated Ilya Smirin.
