A new service called 'Banned Channels' has been launched on the MY.SUD.UZ interactive services portal. This service allows citizens to view information about internet resources recognized as extremist in Uzbekistan.
This service contains a list of online sources that disseminate ideas of religious extremism, terrorism, and fanaticism. According to Supreme Court decisions, corresponding materials are prohibited from being imported, produced, stored, distributed, and displayed on the territory of Uzbekistan.
Users can search the list of banned resources and channels, as well as sort them by various internet platforms and social networks. The list covers resources on services such as YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Threads, and others.
As of July 13, this list recorded 1,882 online sources.
