The manufacturer Kia has implemented a discount of R$ 20 thousand on all 2026/2027 Kia Niro models, valid until the end of September. With this reduction, the entry-level EX version's price was adjusted from R$ 194,990 to R$ 174,990, while the top-of-the-line SX Prestige version went from R$ 219,990 to R$ 199,990.
According to the manufacturer, this offer is valid for cash payments made until September 30th or while stocks last, whichever comes first. On the brand's official configurator, only the light white paint does not incur an extra cost; metallic and pearlescent colors add R$ 2,800 to the value.
With the new discount, the hybrid vehicle reaches the same table price as the Caoa Changan Uni-T, which is R$ 174,990, and also matches the table price of the Jeep Compass Sport. However, the Jeep SUV has its own promotion, valid until October 1st, offering it for R$ 137,990 in cash, restricted to Carbon Black color and without options.
Additionally, the Niro is positioned below the table prices of the entry-level versions of other competitors, such as the GWM Haval H6 (R$ 199,900), BYD Song Pro (R$ 196,990), and Toyota Corolla Cross (R$ 194,090).
The SUV uses a 1.6 naturally aspirated engine coupled with an electric powertrain, generating a combined power of 141 hp and a torque of 27 kgfm. Its transmission system features front-wheel drive and a six-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT). Kia reports that the Niro can reach 100 km/h in 11.5 seconds.
As a full hybrid that does not require external charging, it is powered by a 1.6 kWh battery. Consumption data measured by Inmetro indicates 18.3 km/l in the city and 15.9 km/l on the highway.
In terms of dimensions, the Niro measures 4.42 meters in length, 1.82 meters in width, and 1.54 meters in height, with a wheelbase of 2.72 meters. The total trunk space amounts to 425 liters, according to the manufacturer.
Standard features include seven airbags, autonomous emergency braking system, electrically adjustable driver's seat, two-zone digital air conditioning, automatic high beams, instrument panel, and a 10.25-inch multimedia center, in addition to fatigue detection and lane keep assist.
The most complete version, SX Prestige, offers extra features such as wireless phone charging, paddle shifters located behind the steering wheel, adaptive cruise control, front parking sensors, and blind spot and rear and front collision assistants.
