The ceremony marking the start of the new season of the 'Olympiad of Five Initiatives' for students took place in Tashkent. The event was organized within the sports complex of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The organizer was the branch of the I.M. Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas (MTU) in Tashkent city.
The exhibition titled 'Love for the Land and Heavenly Love. Vladimir and Konstantin Makovsky' has concluded at the Faberge Museum in St. Petersburg.
Nine works of art from Uzbekistan were presented as part of this exhibition.
The international educational exhibition and fair 'Education of Russia. Tashkent - 2026', dedicated to the opportunities for studying at higher education institutions in Russia, will take place in the capital city.
The event is scheduled for September 25 and 26 of this year.
Uzbekistan primarily imports chicken meat from Turkey, Russia, and China. Russia has taken its place among the main suppliers of chicken meat to Uzbekistan.
From January to August 2026, Russia supplied 7.2 thousand tons of chicken meat to Uzbekistan. According to data from the National Statistical Committee, 39.8 thousand tons of chicken meat were imported into Uzbekistan during this period at a total value of $47.6 million.
The import volume increased by 7.9 thousand tons, which accounts for 24.8% compared to the same period in 2025.
Turkey is the leader in chicken meat supplies, having supplied 10.2 thousand tons. China holds the third position, exporting 5.2 thousand tons.
