Temporary queues of freight vehicles have formed at the S. Nazhimov border customs control point in the Tashkent region of Uzbekistan, according to the Regional Customs Administration of Tashkent.
Necessary resources and personnel were mobilized at the point to promptly resolve the situation.
The customs administration noted that the time taken to complete customs procedures also depends on the efficiency of the crossing point in the neighboring country. In this regard, operational coordination has been established between the heads of the border customs points of both countries.
Truck drivers heading to the border and customs points can receive up-to-date information about queue status through a special Telegram group and use it to choose their route.
