The Fergana oil refinery has substantially increased the output of aviation fuel. In August, the plant produced 11,200 tons of JET A-1 aviation fuel, exceeding the planned 7,800 tons and reaching 143.6% of the set target.
From January to July, the plant produced 15,800 tons of aviation fuel. Including the results from August, the average monthly production volume has noticeably increased.
The increase in aviation fuel output became possible after the plant completed research and qualification tests for producing JET A-1 aviation fuel using synthetic GTL kerosene. Furthermore, the plant received all necessary permits to manufacture this product.
In light of the achieved production indicators, the Fergana oil refinery has adjusted its annual target for aviation fuel production, raising it from 74,000 tons to 85,600 tons. Thus, the new target is 11,600 tons higher than the initial plan, representing an increase of 15.7%.
It is expected that the additional revenue from selling the increased production volume will amount to 164 billion sums. The plant views the expansion of aviation fuel production as part of its efforts to deepen crude oil processing and increase the output of higher value-added products.
The Fergana oil refinery intends to continue increasing the production of JET A-1 aviation fuel, which is expected to expand the domestic supply of this product within the oil industry and enhance the plant's contribution to meeting the internal market's demand for aviation fuel.
