Film 'The Vvaan' features Sharda Sinha's song about Chhath, evoking emotional response from viewers

The highly anticipated film 'Ramayana,' starring Ranbir Kapoor and Yash Starer, continues to attract public attention leading up to its release. The first track, 'Jai Jai Ram,' released on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, is drawing particular discussion. In this spiritually rich song, Ranbir Kapoor portrays Lord Rama, and Sai Pallavi plays Mata Sita.

However, this track has revealed details about the plot that highlight Arijit Singh's uniqueness. To record 'Jai Jai Ram,' Arijit Singh worked through approximately 200 takes. Notably, he was not just recording the song but striving to deeply feel the spirituality and emotion of every attempt.

According to Pinkvilla, Arijit completely immersed himself in the spirituality of this track, exploring emotions with each take. It reached a point where he himself did not know when to stop. Ultimately, Arijit stopped thinking about the technical aspects of the song and fully surrendered to his feelings.

The song, which evokes a sense of reverence in viewers, was created because the singer himself completely dedicated himself to that feeling. 'Jai Jai Ram' is performed by Arijit Singh and Shreya Ghoshal. This grand spiritual anthem was composed by AR Rahman, and the lyrics were written by Dr. Kumar Vishwas. Viewers are already very excited that Ranbir Kapoor plays Lord Rama and Sai Pallavi plays Mata Sita. This track is also considered important as it is the first glimpse into the film's world.

Following the news of 200 takes by Arijit, interest in the song has increased. Although Arijit has announced his retirement and will complete all signed projects to take a break.

The film 'Ramayana,' directed by Nitish Tiwari, is produced by Namit Malhotra. The film will be released in two parts. The first part will appear in theaters worldwide on November 6, 2026, coinciding with the Diwali festival. The second part will be released in 2027.

In the film, Ranbir Kapoor plays Lord Rama, and Sai Pallavi plays Mata Sita. Yash will play Ravana, Sunny Deol will play Lord Hanuman, and Ravi Dubey will play Lakshmana. Other important roles will be played by Arun Govil, Lara Dutta, Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, and Vivek Oberoi.

Tamannaah Bhatia shared her impressions of the song 'Chhati Maiya,' which is connected to the Chhath festival, during the trailer presentation of her film 'Vaan.' This track, reflecting elements of Bihar's culture and the Chhath Puja celebration, caused significant resonance on social media.

During the trailer launch event, Tamanna noted that the film is special for all viewers. She emphasized that bringing numerous folk tales from her country to the big screen requires great courage, clear vision, and a precise concept.

Speaking about Chhath, Tamanna mentioned seeing large crowds celebrating Chhath Puja at Juhu beach, but previously lacked deep knowledge about the traditions associated with this festival. She added that although she grew up in Mumbai and always observed crowds at Juhu beach, she didn't know much about the festival itself.

However, while shooting the corresponding scene, she learned about the strict fast observed during this ceremony: people abstain from water for 36 hours while worshipping the goddess.

Tamanna also shared her positive impressions of aspects of Bihar's culture. She observed that nowadays there is often talk of gratitude and manifestation (the feeling of wish fulfillment), which she believes is a beautiful part of Bihar's culture. She noted that while everyone reveres the rising sun, the setting sun is given equal importance and respect.

Recalling the process of shooting this scene, Tamanna recounted that she became emotional. She said, 'When I was shooting this scene, tears welled up in my eyes, and I don't know why. As an artist, we are like a medium, and I feel there is some higher power that makes us feel something special.'

Concluding her remarks, she expressed gratitude for participating in the creation of the song, believing that the purpose of films is to evoke feelings in the viewer. She added that in a few years, when she sees someone celebrating Chhath, this song will surely be in her memory.

The film 'Vaan' is the first collaboration between Siddharth and Tamannaah. The cast also includes Manish Paul, Shweta Tiwari, Sunil Grover, and Anup Soni. The film, directed by Dipak Kumar Mishra and produced by Shobha Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor, is scheduled for release in theaters on September 25.
