According to data from the National Statistical Committee of Uzbekistan, small enterprises in Uzbekistan generated 518.7 trillion UZS of gross domestic product from January to June 2026. This figure accounted for 50.5% of the total gross domestic product created in the country's economy.
The service sector contributed the most to the gross domestic product generated by small enterprises, accounting for 48% of the total amount. Agriculture, forestry, and fisheries added 28.4% to this indicator.
Furthermore, industry contributed 11.9%, and the construction sector contributed 11.7%. Thus, in the first half of 2026, small businesses generated more than half of Uzbekistan's total gross domestic product.
