Wallabies Coach Changes Squad Before South Africa Match, Fields Suahili Instead of Harry Potter

Wallabies coach Les Kiss decided to change Joseph-Aukuso Suahili's position, moving him from outside centre to the wing to face the world champions from South Africa in Perth.

Joseph-Aukuso Suahili will start on the wing for the first time. This bold decision was made by coach Les Kiss on Friday before Australia's match against South Africa in Perth. The 23-year-old player will take a spot in the starting three alongside Max Jorgensen and Tom Wright in the upcoming one-match Test on Sunday at Optus Stadium.

Kiss preferred Suahili over Harry Potter in this interesting reshuffle because the player, who transferred from rugby league, has always played as an outside centre for the Wallabies.

Additionally, Ben Donaldson will replace primary playmaker Carter Gordon, who suffered a leg fracture during a recent Australia Test in Argentina. There were also changes among the forwards: Brandon Paenga-Amosa and Allan Aalalatua became the only replacements in the forward ranks.

Les Kiss noted: 'We had a solid preparation period here in Perth before the grand Test against South Africa.'

The Wallabies will face a serious challenge as they are set to play against South Africa, which ranks first in the world rankings.

However, the visiting team will present an updated squad after making 13 changes in their Test against the All Blacks in Baltimore earlier this month. Australia showed a promising start under Kiss, who replaced Joe Schmidt in July. The Wallabies defeated Japan twice, followed by a win and a draw in Argentina.

Nevertheless, South Africa, whose squad remains rich in class and experience, presents the biggest test for Kiss's emerging management. Kiss stated: 'Playing against the number one team in the world focuses the mind, and we have worked hard on key areas to handle this challenge and continue developing our game.'

South Africa won five of the last six Tests against Australia. The Australian squad includes: Tom Wright; Max Jorgensen, Len Ikitau, Hunter Paimis, Joseph-Aukuso Suahili; Ben Donaldson, Ryan Lonergan; Harry Wilson (captain), Fraser McRae, Rob Valetini; Jeremy Williams, Josh Cunningham; Allan Aalalatua, Brandon Paenga-Amosa, Angus Bell. Reserves include Billy Pollard, Aidan Ross, Tanielu Tupou, Lukhan Salakayu-Loto, Tom Hooper, Carlo Tizzano, Taeta McDermott, and Harry Potter.

Unique Ganpati Pandal with Horror Theme Opens in Surat (India) Before Worship of Lord Ganesha

During the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations in Surat, Gujarat, India, an unusual Ganpati Pandal located in the Mahidharpura area has attracted public attention. Access to the deity Ganesha requires pilgrims to pass through a path filled with anxiety and thrills.

Unlike the traditional religious and mythological representations usually displayed in pandals, the organizers here implemented a completely different approach. Upon entering the pandal, devotees encounter images of ghosts, vampires, and eerie characters. Various scenes are designed to create the impression of watching a horror film for a short time.

This complex was designed in three to four separate levels. As visitors move along the queue, they see a sequence of frightening decorations. Ghosts appear in some places, while vampires and other terrifying figures try to scare people in others. The organizers prepared this atmosphere with the aim of catering to people's desire for entertainment and thrills.

After passing through these frightening decorations, pilgrims reach the main pandal where worship of Lord Ganesha takes place. Thus, this unique journey begins with fear and concludes with the vision of Ganesha.

The pandal organizer, Anil Modi, stated that the main theme of the event is based on horror and mystery. He noted that such concepts can be seen abroad. The goal was to provide an experience of such a world to people who cannot see it in real life.

According to Anil Modi, the preparation of this idea took about six months, with the last two months dedicated to building the pandal itself. He emphasized that his team created it independently. Yash Bhai from 'Manoranjan Event' also actively participated in developing this theme.

The organizer specified that six young people work inside the pandal, and about 10-12 people manage order outside. He shared observations about the children's reactions: some start crying out of fear, exclaiming that it was built.

This Ganpati Pandal in Mahidharpura has become a topic of discussion throughout the city of Surat. The combination of religious faith with the theme of horror and mystery offers people a completely new experience. Passing through a path full of ghosts and vampires makes the visit to Lord Ganesha special for the pilgrims.

During Ganesh Chaturthi, while the city's residents are immersed in worshipping Ganesha, this pandal has become a special magnet for children and youth. The experience of going through scary characters and scenes excites people. Thus, the Mahidharpura pandal exhibits a unique blend of spirituality and thrills, which has become a hallmark of Ganesh Chaturthi in Surat this year.
