The fourth edition of the UP International Trade Show 2026 kicked off in Greater Noida. The trade exhibition was inaugurated by Home Minister Amit Shah.
On this occasion, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath noted that the direction in which Uttar Pradesh has advanced through the 'One District, One Product' (ODOP) program began with the ideas and initiative of Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah.
Yogi Adityanath emphasized that this event represents a fusion of tradition and technology, heritage and innovation. The UP International Trade Show provides the world an opportunity to get acquainted with the heritage, products, and innovations of Uttar Pradesh. He added that the grand presence of everyone at the fourth edition demonstrates its global nature and the growing trust of the world in India.
Home Minister Amit Shah stated that people from all over the world visited this exhibition, which will be beneficial for local artisans. He noted that thanks to this exhibition, UP has been developing over the last four years, attracting billions in investment, and this year is expected to exceed previous years' figures.
Criticizing previous governments, Amit Shah stated that until 2017, UP was under a mafia regime, but after Yogi's arrival, the mafia regime ended, and now a favorable atmosphere for investment is being formed here.
The Chief Minister also announced that this year partner countries include Japan, Vietnam, Russia, Singapore, Austria, and Belarus. He stressed that the participation of these countries reflects the growing global scale of the UP International Trade Show. The exhibition serves as a platform where artisans from different regions of the state can showcase their craftsmanship, and visitors from around the world have the opportunity to purchase UP products in one place.
