However, the story of Mohibullah Ansari, a resident of Siwan in Bihar and the current Municipal Police Chief of Muzaffarpur, turned out to be just such a story. This officer, once considered weak in studies, will now be honored with the 'The Asian Hero Award 2026' in America.
The 7th 'World Fair and Festival' will take place on December 13, 2026, in Tampa, Florida, USA. At this international venue, IPS Mohibullah Ansari will be recognized by the 'Association of World Fairs and Festivals of the USA.'
The award is given to him for outstanding leadership in police service, impeccable honesty, excellent public service, and unique contribution to social well-being. The presence of this officer from Bihar among celebrities from around the world is a source of pride for the entire nation.
In an interview with the media, Mohibullah Ansari spoke about his life journey. He shared that his beginning was full of difficulties. In school, he lagged significantly in his studies. When his results in the preliminary exams for the 10th and 12th grades were poor, silence fell at home. His father became angry and sharply reprimanded him: 'You dream of getting into IIT, but first, get at least some passing marks!'
These words deeply affected Mohibullah. Instead of taking it as an insult, he turned it into a challenge. From that day on, he locked himself in his room, worked day and night, and completely changed his field of study.
The passion for learning, ignited by his father's reproach, never faded. Not only did he successfully pass the JEE Mains and Advanced exams, but he also enrolled in Chemical Engineering at the prestigious IIT Delhi in 2011. After completing his bachelor's degree, he worked for a period in a large company, but his heart yearned to serve the country. In 2015, he left his job and moved to Delhi to prepare for civil service. Despite initial difficulties, he did not give up.
Through persistent efforts, he achieved the 381st overall rank on his third attempt and was selected for the Indian Police Service (IPS). The story of Mohibullah Ansari, who wears a police uniform and maintains order among criminals in Muzaffarpur, serves as an example for any student who loses hope after low scores or failing one or two exams.
