The Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show 2026 kicks off today to connect the industrial strength of Uttar Pradesh, local handicrafts, and new enterprises with the global market. The fourth edition of this exhibition is being held at India Expo Centre & Mart in Greater Noida from September 25 to 29, 2026. The opening ceremony will be conducted by Home Minister Amit Shah.
The main focus of this exhibition is on promoting local products from various districts of Uttar Pradesh to wider markets. Under the 'One District – One Product' (ODOP) initiative, traditional and unique goods from the state will be showcased. Among these products are carpets from Bhadohi, glassware from Firozabad, metal crafts from Muradabad, and carved wood from Saharanpur, which will be demonstrated to international buyers.
Thanks to this exhibition, small entrepreneurs, artisans, weavers, and local traders will have the opportunity to reach both domestic and international markets.
A specialty of UPITS 2026 is the 'One District – One Dish' (ODOC) initiative. For the first time, the traditional culinary diversity and local food products from all 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh will be presented at the exhibition. Hall number 16 has been prepared as a food hall for this purpose. The goal of this initiative is to connect local culinary traditions, traditional dishes, and food producers with large markets, allowing visitors to see not only business activity but also the gastronomic diversity of Uttar Pradesh.
According to organizers, more than 2400 exhibitors will participate in the exhibition this year. Approximately 150 thousand B2B buyers and visitors, 450 thousand general visitors, and over 550 international buyers from 88 countries are expected. Business meetings, networking, and B2B matchmaking have been organized to connect foreign buyers with the products and companies of Uttar Pradesh.
The five-day event will include not only product demonstrations but also a series of educational sessions and business programs. Topics to be discussed will cover artificial intelligence, electronics manufacturing, digital trade, food processing, SMEs, and global free trade agreements. Additionally, cultural events, live performances, and fashion shows are planned.
The main goal of the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Fair is to provide a large platform for the state's local traders, SMEs, exporters, artisans, and startups, allowing them to interact directly with buyers. This will give local goods access to new markets and provide entrepreneurs with opportunities to find export destinations. In UPITS 2026, Austria, Japan, Russia, Singapore, Belarus, and Vietnam are participating as partners, emphasizing the focus on finding new export opportunities for Uttar Pradesh products through the participation of international buyers.
