Judges from Uzbekistan will participate in the matches of the Asia Cup 2027, which will be held in Saudi Arabia.
Uzbek referees will take on the responsibilities of managing football games that will take place in Saudi Arabia from January 7 to February 5, 2027.
A press conference was held in the capital, organized by the Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan. At it, work being conducted to create conditions for workers during the 2026 cotton harvest campaign, as well as measures to prevent child and forced labor, was discussed.
Information was presented during the event about the launch of the National Monitoring, which will monitor compliance with standards during the cotton collection period.
In the men's football competition at the XX Asian Games, held in Japan, the Uzbekistan U-23 national team participated in the second round of Group C against the Kuwait national team.
Thanks to this match, the Uzbekistan team managed to advance to the tournament quarterfinals.
