In the friendly match held last Thursday, the Uzbekistan national football team defeated Iran with a score of 3:1. The match took place in Tashkent.

The home team's first goal was scored by Eldor Shomurodov just 10 minutes after the start of the game. Then, in the 49th minute, Jahongir Urozov scored a goal for his own side.
Shomurodov scored again in the 59th minute, converting a penalty. The third goal for Uzbekistan was scored by Husain Norchaev in added time.
The Iranian team, led by Amir Ghalenoei, will face Russia in the coming days in another friendly match.
