Dubai Fountain resumes shows with modified program after the death of Sheikh Ahmed

The Dubai Fountain show has resumed its performances, presenting an adjusted program that reflects the solemnity of the current mourning period. Previously, the shows were suspended following the declaration of official mourning in Dubai due to the death of Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

A representative from Emaar confirmed that the show is running at reduced volume and with a diminished soundtrack until the end of the mourning period. In a statement, Emaar said: 'The Dubai Fountain was suspended following the declaration of official mourning in Dubai due to the death of Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. It has now resumed with a modified presentation reflecting the solemnity of the ongoing mourning period.'

Dubai announced an official ten-day mourning period, which began on Monday, September 21, during which flags were flown at half-mast throughout the emirate.
