NetEase has released a new update for the game Marvel Rivals, which was made available on Thursday, the 24th. This update package did not require server maintenance and highlights the introduction of the God Quarry map, along with the return of Costume Coin and several new items for the store.
The main addition is the God Quarry map, which belongs to the Domination mode and is located amidst the conflict led by Gorr, known as the God Butcher. In the narrative presented for this scenario, Gorr managed to turn the City of Omnipotence into a fortress and used it against the Cradle of Creation, while approaching the completion of the Godbomb.
For players to experience the new map, Marvel Rivals will temporarily offer a Quick Match option exclusive to God Quarry. This mode will be accessible to the public between September 24th and 29th.
Another relevant point is the launch of Galacta’s Gift Vol.3, which signals the return of Costume Coin. This event also renews the Exchange Store with a new selection of outfits that will only be available for a limited time. Galacta’s Gift Vol.3 started on September 24th and will remain active until November 13th.
The store also received content additions, such as packages intended for Mantis and Daredevil, along with thematic items related to Thor and Jeff, the Land Shark. Meanwhile, the Swimsuit Special collection is being gradually discontinued, with cosmetic removals occurring in two distinct phases.
Collection Endings and Fixes
The first phase of the Swimsuit Special collection removal will occur on October 16th, covering outfits for Emma Frost, Doctor Strange, Daredevil, Black Widow, Captain America, Lady Loki, and White Fox. The appearances of Magik, Scarlet Witch, and Storm will have extended availability until November 20th.
Additionally, the Krakoan Reels Vol.2 will end on October 15th. Finally, the patch implements minor adjustments, correcting, for example, an alignment issue with the Devil Dinosaur icon displayed in the elimination feed.
