The IV international forum dedicated to the pedagogy of A. S. Pushkin has begun in Tashkent. Elena Saburova, a direct descendant of Pushkin, participated in the opening of the forum and emphasized the significance of the poet's legacy in shaping the cultural code and historical memory.
On September 23rd, a solemn opening ceremony for the IV International Forum 'Pedagogy of A. S. Pushkin in the Context of Socio-Cultural Transformation: Education and Science from the Poet's Heritage' took place in Uzbekistan, organized by Rossotrudnichestvo in Uzbekistan. The event gathered representatives from educational and scientific institutions from Russia, Uzbekistan, Belarus, and other countries.
The presence of Elena Saburova, a direct descendant of Alexander Pushkin, as well as the leadership of the A. S. Pushkin Association of Educators and Educational Organizations, gave the opening special significance. In her address, she noted that Pushkin's heritage forms the cultural code and genetic memory, and the poet himself is one of the founders of the modern Russian literary language.
On the first day of the forum, participants discussed the interaction between classical literature and modern technologies and artificial intelligence. Participants stressed that in an era of active development of the digital environment, the image of Pushkin remains a key pillar of national culture and a symbol that helps adapt educational practice to the needs of the new generation.
A significant event at the opening was the presentation of the three-year activities of the Federal Innovation Hub. The organizers presented new scientific and methodological publications: the book 'Listening to the Creative Idea... The Pedagogy of A. S. Pushkin,' the educational and methodological guide 'Pushkin School: Alphabet of Teacher Values,' and the methodological guide 'Based on Strict Rules of Art: The Story 'Shore, Green-Leaved Cypress' in the Digital Age: Preserving the Cultural Code.' The first copies of the books were presented to some participants.
The first day of the program also included traditional events: forum participants laid flowers at the monument to A. S. Pushkin and visited the Tashkent Branch of the A. I. Herzen State Pedagogical University of Russia.
The forum will run until September 26th. Starting from September 24th, the geographical scope of the events will expand: general meetings, expert sections, and cultural and educational programs will take place at the QFU branch in Jizzakh, as well as in Zomin and Samarkand. Upon completion of the forum, all participants will be issued certificates of advanced training in the Russian format.
