Uzbekistan and India discussed opportunities for cooperation in the pharmaceutical industry. According to the statement from the Agency for the Development of Medical and Pharmaceutical Industry, the discussion concerned the transfer of advanced technologies, localization of production, and implementation of joint projects.
The Agency's Director, Abdullo Azizov, held a meeting with representatives of the Indian pharmaceutical company Precise Group. During the negotiations, the parties considered the potential for transferring modern pharmaceutical technologies to Uzbek enterprises and implementing them at local production sites.
Furthermore, prospects for launching new production initiatives were discussed. Special attention was paid to attracting domestic pharmaceutical companies to cooperate with Precise Group, as well as localizing production and carrying out joint ventures.
Following the meeting, an agreement was reached that the parties would identify Uzbek pharmaceutical companies interested in Precise Group's technologies and production areas, after which direct negotiations between these companies would be organized.
