Shan Jixian, director of the Palace Museum Academic Committee, noted that people strive to live in an environment where they can interact with both past and present cultures. Therefore, cultural heritage resources need to be 'revitalized.'
French Senator and Vice-President of the France-China Friendship Association, Cécile Cucquierman, spoke about France's efforts to return cultural artifacts taken during the colonial period. According to her, restitution is not merely a symbolic gesture but a way to resume dialogue and allow communities to reclaim their cultural heritage.
Jean-Marc Bustamante, a member of the Academy of Fine Arts, expressed the view that art should be experienced personally. He expressed hope to invite Chinese artists to France and spend more time in China independently.
