South African singer and songwriter Tyla has received an important update regarding her highly anticipated performance in South Africa as part of the A*POP world tour. The concert, scheduled for Saturday, January 9, 2027, has been officially moved from the original open-air venue to the SunBet Arena, located in Time Square, Pretoria.
This change is aimed at ensuring a high-quality event experience and provides attendees with new seating options.
Ticket Transfer and Category Conversion
Organizers have assured ticket holders from South Africa that their bookings remain secure and the event date is unchanged. Tickets will automatically transfer from the Howler platform to Ticketmaster South Africa at no extra cost, eliminating the need for fans to repurchase tickets.
Initial ticket purchases will be converted to equivalent venue categories as follows:
- Holders of Golden Circle tickets will be reassigned to the Front-Zone Standing area.
- Holders of General Admission tickets will remain in the General Admission category.
Replacement tickets will be sent via email directly from Ticketmaster South Africa within 72 hours. These new digital passes will completely replace the original Howler tickets, rendering them invalid for entry.
Tyla's performance in Cape Town at Green Point Track Cape Town continues to be managed through Howler and is unaffected by this relocation.
How to Access Tickets and Request Seating Changes
To receive and view the replacement tickets, you must check your inbox for an upcoming notification from Ticketmaster. Afterward, you should click on the ticket link and log in using the same email address used for the initial purchase on Howler. Fans who do not have a Ticketmaster account must create one using this exact same email address to complete verification.
For those who prefer seating, Ticketmaster accepts transfer requests. Requests to move to an equivalent price category with seats can be submitted until Monday, September 28, 2026, at 3:00 PM, at no additional charge. The conversion process is handled in the order applications are received and depends on seat availability at the venue.
Earlier in July, Tyla announced 34 dates for her World Tour, including performances in the Netherlands, London, Sweden, Germany, Denmark, New York, and Las Vegas, which will begin on October 12 in Paris at the Zenith arena.
