Jeep has begun selling the 85 Years special series, a commemorative line featuring new versions of the Avenger and Renegade models. The Avenger is available starting from R$ 142,990, while the Renegade starts at R$ 167,690.
Both SUVs are already being distributed to the brand's dealerships across the national territory. The manufacturer specified that production will be limited but did not disclose the exact number of units to be manufactured.
The prices of these commemorative editions are higher than those of the Longitude version, which serves as the base for both vehicles. For reference, the Avenger Longitude costs R$ 135,990, and the Renegade Longitude MHEV is sold for R$ 158,690. In the case of the Avenger, the special version is R$ 3,000 below the price of the top-of-the-line Limited version, which is R$ 145,990.
The commemorative configuration of the Avenger preserves the 1.0 turbo flex T200 engine, which generates 116 hp and 20.4 kgfm. This engine is coupled with the 12V mild-hybrid (MHEV) system provided by Stellantis and uses a CVT automatic transmission. Aesthetically, the model features a black two-tone roof, 18-inch matte black alloy wheels, a grille with seven illuminated slats, and specific edition emblems.
Regarding the interior, the finishes and details feature the Mayan Gold tone. The equipment set includes Matrix headlights, 360-degree camera, adaptive cruise control, front parking sensors, and the 10-inch multimedia center, which comes with the Jeep Adventure Intelligence package and incorporates the ChatGPT voice assistant.
Derived from the Longitude version, the Renegade 85 Years maintains the 1.3 turbo flex T270 engine, which delivers 176 hp and 27.5 kgfm. It also has the 48V mild-hybrid system, which adds approximately 16 hp and 6.6 kgfm without moving the car, and is equipped with a six-speed automatic transmission.
This special edition adds items such as panoramic sunroof, black two-tone roof, blind spot detection, automatic headlight switching, electrochromic rearview mirror, rain sensor, and paddle shifters. The interior receives darker finishes, in addition to black steering wheel and gear knob, complemented by Mayan Gold stitching on the seats, dashboard, and door trims.
The vehicle remains with six airbags and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), such as lane departure warning and automatic emergency braking, as standard features. Finally, the manufacturer announced that the prices and equipment lists for the 85 Years versions of the Compass and Commander models will be announced soon.
