Check Point Software Technologies announced on Wednesday the appointment of Krishna V.V. as the Managing Director and Country Head for India and South Asia, effective immediately.
According to the company statement, in this new role, Krishna will oversee business strategy, Profit & Loss (P&L) figures, market entry strategy implementation, and organizational development across the region.
It is reported that he will report to Ruma Balasubramanian, President of APAC & Japan.
Krishna has over thirty years of leadership experience. Before joining Check Point, he served as the Country Director for BFSI at Palo Alto Networks. Previously, he also held senior executive positions at companies such as Wipro, Sun Microsystems, Oracle, Symantec, and Seclore.
Ruma Balasubramanian noted that 'India is at the center of many critical technological and business transformations in the world. As AI adoption accelerates, organizations are seeking security partners who can simplify complexity while providing comprehensive protection for networks, cloud environments, workspaces, and AI systems.'
