A study showed that the frequency of sexual intercourse positively affects the speed of conception. The average waiting time for pregnancy is reduced if a woman has sex more than once a week.
Specifically, with a frequency of less than once a week, the average time to pregnancy is 4.8 months. However, when sexual acts occur more than four times a week, this period decreases to 3.7 months.
Furthermore, women who have more than four sexual contacts weekly demonstrate an increased probability of conception within one cycle. This probability is 16 percent higher compared to women in the control group.
The results of this scientific investigation were officially published in the journal PLoS One.
