The President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, inspected the new street of gastronomic tourism created in the Urikzor mahalla of the city of Andzivan. This project was implemented along Mashrab and Sarikuy streets and is designed to serve over 10,000 residents and visitors daily.
According to a message from the press service of the President of Uzbekistan, the total cost of implementing the project amounted to 18 billion soms. Of this amount, 8 billion soms were allocated from the republican budget, and entrepreneurs contributed an additional 10 billion soms in investments.
The new tourist street stretches for 1.2 kilometers. It is equipped with spacious and safe pedestrian and bicycle paths, modern landscape design, fountains, and lighting elements.
For guests, selfie zones, open sports grounds, ecological areas for children's recreation, and family recreational zones have also been established.
The street features 35 commercial facilities, 30 of which operate around the clock. The implementation of this project has led to the creation of 100 new jobs. The head of state visited the new gastronomic street, where he spoke with local residents and entrepreneurs.
