During his visit to the Andijan region, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev inspected the work of the 'Sokin Savdo Service' poultry cluster located in the Balykchinsky district.
In Uzbekistan, great importance is attached to the development of poultry farming, as poultry meat is an affordable and healthy product for the population. Therefore, the state focuses on creating large-scale poultry complexes, localizing production, and ensuring the market with quality goods.
The enterprise 'Sokin Savdo Service', established in 2010, manages five poultry farms in the Andijan region and three in the Namangan region. Compound feed for these farms is produced at a plant located in the Tashkent region.
The cluster ensures the full production cycle: from producing feed and raising poultry to slaughtering, processing, packaging, and delivering finished products to end consumers. The total cost of this project reaches $29 million, and 417 jobs have been created at the enterprise. Currently, 1.5 million broiler chicks are housed here.
The complex's production capacity allows for the annual rearing of 8.2 million broilers and the production of 20.6 thousand tons of poultry meat. Additionally, the complex is capable of processing 55 thousand tons of chicken meat and semi-finished products, adhering to Halal, HACCP, and ISO standards.
Since the beginning of the current year, the breeding direction has been actively developing in the cluster. It is planned that 7.6 million broiler chicks will be obtained annually from a flock of 25 thousand laying hens from 9 million eggs. By the end of 2027, a waste processing line and a multi-tiered cage system for housing poultry will be launched at the enterprise, for which $10 million has been allocated.
It was also proposed to unite regional farms that are currently idle or facing difficulties into a single cooperative system. This will allow for the restoration of 350 to 400 jobs and increase poultry production by another 1.7 million heads.
