In August, sales of new passenger cars in Uzbekistan rose by 20.5%, while transactions for used cars decreased by 10.8%.
According to data from the Center for Economic Research and Reforms, the volume of new passenger car sales in Uzbekistan reached 30.6 thousand units in August, showing a growth of 20.5%. The total turnover of all types of vehicles exceeded the mark of 79 thousand.

In August, UzAuto Motors offered significant discounts on several Chevrolet models. For example, the discount on the 'Captiva' reached 45 million soms, and up to 15 million soms for the 'Cobalt MCM' and 'Damas'. This promotion was valid until September 10.
Additionally, installment plans with zero interest were launched for the 'Cobalt' model in cooperation with several banks. Under certain conditions, the option to purchase a car without interest with an initial payment of 50–65% was offered.
In the secondary market segment, the opposite trend was noted: sales of used passenger cars decreased by 10.8%, totaling about 32 thousand. Sales of electric vehicles in both the primary and secondary markets reached 9.2 thousand.
Concurrently, about 25.1 thousand real estate transactions were officially registered in August, comparable to last year's figures. However, over the period from January to August, real estate transactions grew by 18.4%, reaching 222.5 thousand.
