A unique religious event took place at Dada Duni Darbar in Udaipur, Raisen district. According to statements, approximately 151,000 kilograms of offerings were made for the yajna over 51 days. These offerings included fruits, flowers, sweets, clothing, 251 types of herbs, as well as gold and silver jewelry.
According to Saint Shivanand Maharaj, about one and a half kilograms of gold and between 4 to 5 kilograms of silver ornaments were offered into the chimney so far. After these ornaments were placed in the chimney, the resulting ash is then scattered in the Narmada River.
This religious ceremony began on July 29, 2026, with the celebration of Guru Purnima and continued until September 17. It is planned that this will be followed by a 21-day Narmada Sankirtan, which will last until October 8. A large number of pilgrims arrived daily during the event, and Saint Shivanand Maharaj reported that prasad service was organized for devotees around the clock.
Statement on the offering of 1.51 lakh kilograms of materials
Shivanand Maharaj stated that over 51 days, approximately 151,000 kilograms of fruits, flowers, sweets, clothing, 251 types of herbs, and gold and silver jewelry were offered into the chimney in total. He emphasized that this event is being conducted through the grace of Dada Duni Val Maharaj and Mother Narmada, and no donations or help are being collected for it.
Saint Shivanand Maharaj also challenged the world, stating that if anyone can conduct a similar event in the world, he will give them a cash prize of 210 million rupees. It was also mentioned that Saint Shivanand Maharaj will be awarded certification from the International Book of Records.
Faith-based event without independent confirmation of claims
Shivanand Maharaj described the chimney as an embodiment of Mother Narmada, into whom clothes, gold, and silver are offered as adornments. He called it a matter of faith. The volumes of offerings of gold, silver, and sacrificial materials, as well as other claims, were voiced by the organizers.
