The Football Federation of Uzbekistan reported that a team of Russian referees will officiate the friendly match between the national teams of Uzbekistan and Iran as part of the FIFA international window.
The main referee for the match has been appointed by the FIFA referee Kirill Levnikov. His compatriots Dmitry Ermakov and Andrey Vereteshkin will serve as assistants.
The game between Uzbekistan and Iran will take place on September 24th at the Istiqlol stadium.
Four football referees from Uzbekistan will participate in officiating the upcoming Asian Games. These games will take place from September 19 to October 4 in Aichi Prefecture and Nagoya City, Japan.
Representatives from Uzbekistan will officiate matches in both men's and women's football tournaments.
In the men's tournament, Firdavs Norsafarov has been appointed as the head referee, and Ruslan Serazitdinov will serve as an assistant referee.
In the women's tournament, Rozianbon Yusupova will act as the referee, assisted by Kristina Sereda.
Participation in the 20th Asian Games will give Uzbek officials the opportunity to officiate football matches at a major continental sporting event.
