It is impossible to fully ensure crop yield only by sowing crops in spring, cultivating them in summer, and harvesting in autumn. Especially, pests that spend winter unseen in the soil, disease-causing agents, and foreign weed seeds can pose a serious threat to next year's harvest.
For this reason, the quality and quantity of future harvests begin today—that is, through autumn agrotechnical measures and thorough phytosanitary control processes.
A practical seminar was held at the Tax Administration of Kashkadarya region with the participation of entrepreneurs and accountants. Abdulaziz Soliyev, Deputy Chairman of the Tax Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, committee employee Ismatilla Sevinchov, and head of the regional tax administration Sirojiddin Eshmatov took part in the event.
In the districts of the Syrdarya region bordering neighboring countries, a project is being implemented to reduce the negative impact of wind erosion and dust storms, as well as to improve the ecological situation.
As part of this initiative, protective forest areas and 'green belts' with a total length of 84 kilometers are being created.
