The XVI international exhibition 'Plastmassa va polimerlar sanoati - Plastex Uzbekistan-2026' has opened in the capital, showcasing innovative solutions in the field of the polymer industry.
The event is being held at the 'Uzexpomarkaz' exhibition complex in the capital.
A presentation of the 'SI Davomat' system was held at the Tashkent City Administration and has been implemented in schools in the Sergeli district. This new system is designed to monitor student attendance in the city of Tashkent.
The construction of the first major drinking water purification facility in Uzbekistan, which will utilize nanofiltration technology, is planned. This was reported by the press service of JSC "Uzsuvtaʼminot".
The new facility will be built in the city of Navoi. The project involves the application of modern membrane technologies, such as nanofiltration and microfiltration.
The essence of nanofiltration lies in passing water through special membranes. These membranes are capable of capturing a significant portion of substances, including calcium and magnesium, which cause water hardness, as well as some organic compounds.
As a result of this process, the water hardness is reduced and its quality is stabilized.
On September 11, representatives of JSC "Uzsuvtaʼminot" and China Energy Overseas Investment Co., Ltd. held discussions on the technical solutions of the project and the further stages of its implementation in China. The parties agreed to accelerate the project development and begin practical actions in the near future. Following the meeting, a memorandum on expanding cooperation in the field of water supply and sewage was signed.
