Housing Company Tshwane has announced a tender to form a list of service providers who will provide security for various organizational facilities over a three-year period. This tender was published under the number HCT-SCMU 05/2026/27 on September 22, 2026.
Participants in the competition must meet several mandatory requirements, including registration with the Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSIRA) and providing one or more orders or letters of appointment, as specified in the tender documentation.
Application evaluation will be conducted using a points system with an 80/20 preference. Out of the total points, 80 will be allocated for price, and the remaining 20 points will be awarded for achieving specific targets.
The documents for participating in the tender are provided free of charge and are available on the Housing Company Tshwane website from the date of announcement. Minimum technical requirements and additional conditions are contained within the tender documents themselves.
No mandatory orientation meeting or site inspection is provided as part of the tender process.
Companies submitting applications are required to provide a number of administrative documents. These include a CIPC company registration certificate or corresponding registration documents, certified copies of all directors' identification documents, and a Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration report dated no more than three months ago.
It is also necessary to submit a document confirming tax compliance (PIN or certificate), as well as proof of residence for the company and the CK directors listed in the documents. If joint ventures exist, a signed Joint Venture Agreement is required.
