The maximum income for a city bus driver in Tashkent can reach 17 million soums per month. The exact remuneration amount is determined by several factors, including the type of vehicle, qualification level, length of service, number of hours worked, and quality of work performed.
Representatives of the organization 'Toshshahartranskhizmat' presented this information at a press conference attended by a correspondent from Podrobno.uz. The highest maximum payment is provided for drivers of 18-meter King Long buses, which approaches 17 million soums.
For drivers of MAN and Mercedes buses, the maximum earnings can be 15.9 million soums, and for Yutong methane buses—15 million soums. Amounts were also specified for Yutong electric buses, which amount to almost 15 million soums, and for Isuzu and SAZ models—about 13.5 million soums. These figures reflect the maximum income under the condition that all established criteria are met.
The calculation of salary includes actual working time, work on holidays and at night, as well as experience and qualifications. A significant part of the income is formed based on KPIs, which assesses route completion, adherence to traffic rules, absence of accidents, discipline, as well as stops at permitted locations and adherence to the schedule.
For example, drivers with over 20 years of experience receive a 50% bonus, and those with a first driving category receive 25%. Work is monitored through a system of bus monitoring, cameras, and GPS trackers. The company clarified that the basic tariff rate is significantly lower than this maximum amount: for King Long, it is about 5 million soums, and the final income increases due to bonuses and supplements.
Previously, there was information about a possible increase in the cost of public transport fares in Tashkent: it was proposed to raise it from 1.7 thousand to 2.5 thousand soums when using an electronic card.
