Shivaji Satam, Aditya Srivastava, and Dayanand Shetty announced their new project titled 'Papanasam'. This series will differ from CID, and although the actors known to viewers from the cult show will remain in the cast, their roles and manner of performance will be completely new.

Dayanand Shetty noted that this project is very close to him and represents a new start that he will realize under his production brand Daya Shetty Productions.
Ansha Said, who played the role of Inspector Purvi in CID, is also participating in the new show. She urged fans to give 'Papanasam' the same support they gave to CID. Furthermore, Rishikesh Pandey, who played Inspector Sachin in CID, and Ajay Nagarth, who played Pankaj, will also appear in this project.
