Samsung India's profit fell by 36% in the 2026 fiscal year, while revenue grew by 1.2%

Samsung India Electronics reported a 36 percent decrease in its profit, reaching ₹7,228.10 crore in the fiscal year ending March 31, 2026. This information was obtained from documentation filed with the RoC.

Despite the drop in profit, the company's operating revenue slightly increased by 1.2 percent, amounting to ₹1.12 trillion in the 2026 fiscal year, according to financial data available through the Tofler business analytics platform.

Previously, in the 2025 fiscal year, Samsung India Electronics reported consolidated operating revenue of ₹1,11,183.40 crore, and its profit was ₹11,287.50 crore.

The company's total consolidated revenue in the 2026 fiscal year, including other income, reached ₹1,14,738.60 crore (1.14 trillion).

An email was sent to Samsung India Electronics during the preparation of this material requesting comments regarding this reporting, but no response was received at the time of publication.

The mobile phone business contributes the largest share to Samsung India Electronics' total revenue. A part of the South Korean chaebol Samsung Electronics operates in the Indian market in segments such as mobile phones, tablets, televisions, home appliances, and computers.

The company is the only one in the home appliance and consumer electronics segment whose turnover exceeds ₹1 trillion. It is worth noting that the total revenue of its Korean competitor, LG Electronics, in the 2026 fiscal year was ₹2,46,049.12, representing an increase of almost 1 percent.
