The Iranian team, which included Fatemeh Sadeghi, Sepideh Amini, and Zeinab Hosseini, faced the Vietnamese team and lost with a score of 5–0, earning the silver award.
Winning silver at the Asian Games 2026 marked Iran's first medal in women's skating at these Games.
Before reaching the final, the Iranian skating team had previously defeated Thailand and the Philippines earlier that same day.
The team is coached by Fatemeh Baghlanipur.
The karate competitions at the Asian Games 2026 are taking place from September 20 to 30 in the public sports hall of Toyohashi City, Aichi Prefecture, Japan.
