Russian Exporters Bruto Chips and Akva-Kristall Set New Standard for Clean Snacks

The food market is witnessing an unprecedented surge in interest in ecological and 'clean' products. Only between January and May 2026 did potato chip exports from Russia reach record levels—about $100 million, which is 29 percent higher than the previous year's results.

However, behind these figures lies not just a mass-market product, but a new consumer philosophy. The Russian Export Center, through the 'Made in Russia' program, actively promotes the idea that domestic brands are capable of competing on the global stage not only on price but also on quality. Of particular interest is the 'duet' of two exporting companies that have proven that even a familiar snack for watching movies can be healthy and authentic: Bruto chips from Stamba and Akva-Kristall mineral water.

This ideal tandem of participants in the 'Made in Russia' program, whose products are already available to consumers in Asia, CIS countries, and the Middle East, impresses with its taste and quality. Together they form the concept of a conscious snack, where every element is thought out down to the smallest detail.

Stamba is one of the leaders in the production of natural potato snacks. Its products are exported to Kazakhstan, Belarus, Azerbaijan, and Georgia. The brand's assortment includes the KRAFT line with natural flavors of pink pepper and sea salt, as well as the exquisite ASIA series with exclusive flavors. All chips are made from natural, selected Russian potatoes of special varieties. The company's technology pays close attention to texture: the slice thickness varies from 1.35 to 1.55 mm, ensuring perfect crispiness while preserving the natural taste of the potato. The KRAFT line does not contain flavor enhancers or artificial colors, and the seasonings are chosen to enhance, not mask, the taste of the main ingredient.

In contrast to mass-produced sugary soft drinks, Akva-Kristall offers 'living' water. Their signature product, ICE MOUNTAIN mineral water, is sourced from an artesian well 230 meters deep, which preserves its natural mineral composition. Having passed through the Caucasian mountain rock over centuries, the water is enriched with calcium, magnesium, sodium, and potassium, which naturally support body health. The company also produces lemonades, teas, and kvass—a traditional Russian drink made from bread using its own 'time-tested recipes,' where natural components replace chemical substitutes. Special attention is paid to packaging: modern equipment preserves the taste and freshness of the product throughout its shelf life.

The products of both companies bear the 'Made in Russia' mark—a seal of authenticity valued by consumers in Europe and Asia. This means that the buyer receives not just a snack, but a high-quality product with its own unique history: water that has undergone natural filtration through Caucasian mountain rock, and chips made from selected Russian potatoes. The 'Made in Russia' certificate guarantees that it is an authentic local product, created with respect for nature and tradition.

The 'Made in Russia' program serves as a key tool for Russian enterprises aiming to enter international markets. With the support of the Russian Export Center (REC) and participation in this program, Akva-Kristall successfully showcases its beverages at Gulfood, the largest trade fair in Dubai. For Stamba, the program opens doors to the markets of Uzbekistan and other Central Asian countries, where local distributors are looking for reliable suppliers. Moreover, in November 2026, Stamba will present its products at ISM 2026, a leading international trade fair for sweets and snacks. Now these two manufacturers are joining forces to show the UAE audience that snacking while watching movies is not only delicious but also 'purely Russian.'

For the UAE market, where consumers increasingly prefer premium and ecological goods, this duo is particularly relevant. Local residents and tourists are looking for 'clean' brands with a clear origin story. The 'Made in Russia' certificate serves as a benchmark of reliability, comparable to European eco-labels. The combination of crispy chips with the delicate taste of selected potato and water with a rich mineral composition creates an ideal gastronomic pairing: it satisfies hunger and thirst, bringing pleasure without the feeling of heaviness or chemical load.

These companies clearly demonstrate that Russian exports are reaching a new level—becoming more diverse and compliant with high international standards. In this process, the 'Made in Russia' program plays an important role, acting not only as a quality mark but also as a tool helping Russian brands expand their presence in foreign markets. The results of this work are already visible on store shelves: Bruto chips and Akva-Kristall water are setting a new standard for 'smart snacking,' where quality, authenticity, and responsible production take center stage.
