Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Limited (SWREL) announced on Tuesday that it has secured major new contracts totaling over 985 crore rupees.
These orders include a domestic project of 534.3 MWp in Rajasthan, awarded to a new client, as well as an international order in South Africa for two Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) projects with a total capacity of 616 MWh.
Project Details
According to the press release dated September 22, the Rajasthan order was received from a new client and involves a Balance of System (BOS) package. Once operational, the Rajasthan project is expected to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 0.80 million, contributing to a more sustainable future.
Meanwhile, the contract in South Africa was secured from a long-standing client who entrusted the company with this large project due to SWREL's experience and dedication. This South African order pertains to a turnkey EPC project for energy storage systems.
