In the village of Badera, which belongs to the Atarauli block of the Hardoi district, chaos erupted when farmers discovered a huge python, approximately 15 feet long and weighing 50 kilograms, in a cornfield. This massive snake was holding a jackal in its grip, causing panic among local residents. The snake was rescued by forest department employees and snake enthusiasts, after which it was released into its natural habitat on the banks of the Gomati River.
It is reported that when a farmer arrived for work in the morning, he noticed this giant snake among the dense corn crop. The python was completely holding the jackal. This horrifying sight made everyone afraid to approach it. The farmer immediately informed the villagers, who promptly contacted the forest department for help.
After receiving information from the residents, Ranger Vinay Singh Jadhav from the Kachhauna forest section arrived at the scene with his team and snake handler Kuldeep. The rescue operation began with a careful search in the dense cornfield. The forest department team instructed the crowd gathered at the site to maintain a safe distance from the python. After strenuous efforts, the snake was safely captured without any damage.
Ranger Vinay Singh Jadhav reported that the captured python was approximately 15 feet long and weighed about 50 kilograms. After the rescue, it was first taken to the Kachhauna forest section office. Later that evening, the snake was released into its natural habitat on the banks of the Gomati River, without causing it any harm. Only after the capture of the giant snake could the villagers breathe a sigh of relief.
