The company Dreame has released its new flagship robot vacuum cleaner, the X60 Ultra Complete, in the Indian market. Its price is set at ₹1,34,999.
The price may seem high compared to ordinary robot vacuums, but the company focused not just on increasing suction power, but on enabling the robot to perform almost all cleaning tasks autonomously. It is so thin that it can penetrate under beds, sofas, and wardrobes. Furthermore, it is equipped with an object recognition function while moving and avoids them. The top sensor automatically lowers, ensuring cleaning even in narrow spaces.
The main feature of the X60 Ultra Complete is its design: its height is only 7.95 centimeters. Thanks to a sensor that can adjust its height, it rises in open areas to map the room and lowers in low-height areas. This allows it to pass more easily where regular robots might get stuck.
The robot is equipped with two AI cameras that, according to the company, can identify over 280 different objects, including small items and other things in the house. The purpose of this functionality is to prevent collisions during cleaning and allow the robot to change its route.
It can also overcome double steps on internal balconies or indoors, as well as obstacles up to 8.8 cm high. Double retractable legs and a hinged lever are provided for this purpose, which lift up for climbing.
Dreame has equipped the model with a suction power of 35,000 Pa, which the manufacturer claims is the highest in its class. Along with this, a new brush system has been introduced, specially designed to collect hair and other debris. This is especially useful for homes with pets or where a lot of hair falls on the floor, as the system focuses on this type of contamination.
The company has also incorporated a special design into the brushes to minimize the problem of hair tangling. However, the true effectiveness of these claims will only become clear after long-term use and independent testing.
The X60 Ultra Complete is not just a vacuum cleaner; it also performs wet cleaning using two rotating washing pads that operate at a speed of 230 rpm and exert pressure up to 15 N for effective removal of ingrained dirt. The most interesting feature activates after cleaning is complete: the robot brings the washing pads to the base, where they are cleaned with hot water at temperatures up to 100 degrees Celsius. After this, they are dried with hot air, reducing the need for manual washing and drying of mops.
One of the common problems with robot vacuums is the inability to reach the very edges of walls and furniture. To solve this problem, the X60 Ultra Complete is equipped with a bidirectional flexible lever mechanism. Side brushes and mops can extend outwards, helping to reach corners and perimeters that regular robots cannot access. The company claims that this system ensures cleaning even in such places.
Thanks to the AI cameras, the robot is also equipped with a dirt recognition system. According to the manufacturer, it can detect dust, hair, fine particles, and certain types of wet stains, and then adapt the cleaning mode according to the detected contamination.
Additional features are provided for pet owners: the robot can recognize items such as food bowls and litter boxes. Through the app, functions to view the pet's location and take photos of it during cleaning are also available.
In India, the Dreame X60 Ultra Complete is sold for ₹1,34,999. Sales will begin on the Dreame website on September 22nd, and on Amazon on September 27th.
