Kredete acquires Gravv to build agency stablecoin infrastructure

The fintech platform Kredete, which serves diaspora communities and emerging markets, has completed the acquisition of Gravv—an agency stablecoin infrastructure platform. This platform facilitates connections between banks, blockchain networks, and local payment channels to execute real-time global money transfers.

Gravv has already processed over $3 billion annually for more than a thousand businesses in over 100 countries, supported by seven global banking partners. This acquisition allows Kredete to integrate its core money movement infrastructure internally, giving it greater control over the level of interaction between the client and the bank, including stablecoin settlements, multi-currency accounts, currency exchange, liquidity, routing, and transaction reconciliation across global channels.

Furthermore, this acquisition enables Kredete to offer this same infrastructure to banks, fintech companies, platforms, and developers operating in emerging markets.

Intelligent Stablecoin Infrastructure

Kredete was founded in 2022 by Adeola Adedeji with the goal of providing people and businesses in developing regions—whether they are at home or abroad—access to modern and affordable financial tools that reflect their real economic lives. The company uses a unified platform that allows consumers, businesses, and financial institutions to move, convert, store, and settle money globally in real time.

Gravv acts as the stablecoin infrastructure layer underpinning this system. Through a single integration, it connects multi-currency accounts, global payments, card issuance, treasury, banking partners, blockchain networks, and local payout channels. Its agency layer is designed to monitor liquidity, select routes, manage currency exchange and settlements, and reconcile payments in real time, thereby replacing a disparate set of providers that historically complicated the building of global financial infrastructure.

Following the acquisition, Kredete has opened Gravv to new enterprises and developers outside its existing base, inviting any banks, fintech companies, platforms, or developers serving emerging markets to build directly on its infrastructure.

Adeola Adedeji, founder and CEO of Kredete, notes: 'Infrastructure is the moat, and intelligence is the operational layer. Gravv provides Kredete with stablecoin infrastructure and global channels for our consumer and corporate products, and its agency capabilities help manage these channels in real time. Together, we are creating autonomous middleware for global money transfers.'

Hakim Oriola, CTO of Kredete, emphasizes: 'Global payments are not one channel; it is a coordination problem between banks, blockchains, liquidity, compliance, and local payout systems. Gravv unifies these channels into a single infrastructure layer, and its agency capabilities help Kredete route, settle, and reconcile payments in real time.'

Ebuka Arinze, Product Director at Kredete, states: 'We believe the next trillion dollars of global trade will be initiated and processed by AI agents. Having already facilitated millions of transactions for individuals and businesses, we are now building the financial infrastructure that agents will require to participate in the global economy.'

By implementing Gravv's agency intelligence across banking, blockchain, and local payment channels, Kredete asserts that it can route, settle, and reconcile transactions in real time, ensuring faster payments, greater reliability, and better economic conditions for consumers, businesses, and financial institutions.
