The film 'Hanuman Ansh' about Nim Karoli Baba continues to set records, demonstrating steadily growing revenue even six weeks after its release. Despite the arrival of new releases, 'Hanuman Ansh' maintains dominance in cinemas, securing more screenings than the new films 'Vibe' and 'Daira'.
According to the Sakalik report, 'Hanuman Ansh' earned a double-digit amount on its 45th day. On Sunday, the film surpassed the mark of 13.75 crore rupees in net collection, bringing the total net earnings to 271.88 crore rupees. The film's global collection approached 347 crore, and it will officially enter the club of films with earnings of 350 crore.
Approximately 7628 screenings of 'Hanuman Ansh' were shown in the country, with an average occupancy rate of 40%. Audiences continue to show high interest in the film about Nim Karoli Baba.
On the other hand, the films 'Daira' and 'Vibe', which started their run slowly, are beginning to gain momentum. Specifically, Kunal Khemu's comedy film 'Vibe' demonstrated good growth on Sunday, collecting 3 crore rupees in net collection. Although there were fewer screenings on Sunday compared to Saturday, audiences still came to watch the film. By the end of the first weekend, the film earned a total of 7.45 crore rupees, successfully competing with blockbusters like 'Hanuman Ansh'.
In parallel, the film 'Daira' starring Karina Kapoor and Prithviraj Sukumaran is also proving its worth. Although it is given fewer screenings compared to the other two films, it collected 1.75 crore rupees in net collection on its third day. By the end of the first week, Karina's film earned 4.50 crore rupees. The combined screenings of 'Vibe' and 'Daira' do not reach half the screenings of 'Hanuman Ansh'. However, if these two new films are given more screenings in the coming days, their revenue could increase significantly.
