AgiBot, in collaboration with Chimelong Group, plans to introduce over 300 robots onto visitor routes at the Chimelong Spaceship Park located in Hengqin, Zhuhai. The launch of this implementation, which represents a large-scale layer of embodied artificial intelligence within the existing indoor park, is scheduled for Thursday, September 24, 2026. This does not imply the construction of a second entrance to Chimelong Park.
According to an AgiBot notification, information disseminated by IT Home and in travel reviews indicates that the robots will cover areas such as performances, scientific education, guest escorting, retail, hotel services, and sports, operating across more than one hundred interactive points.
September 24 is the start date for visitor interaction within the robotic layer. The opening day's program includes a large-scale human-robot dance performance, which is planned to be held regularly, as well as a robot aerial acrobatics show and the inauguration of a joint AI-based tourism research institute. Models from AgiBot's full range are expected to be utilized, including those that, according to the company, corresponded to platforms that won medals at the World Robotics Games.
The scenes described in the notification for visitor routes range from greetings at bus stops and light shows to educational sessions at animal exhibits, beverage sales, and lobby services at hotels. The partnership was signed on August 23 at the same venue in Hengqin, cementing the project for Spaceship Park, and also provides for subsequent development in the format of hotels and circuses, as well as the creation of a joint laboratory.
Visitors should distinguish the indoor Spaceship Park from the neighboring Chimelong Ocean Kingdom or Chimelong Paradise in Guangzhou. Tickets for Spaceship Park are purchased through Chimelong, and at the time of publication, no additional paid service for robot usage had been announced. Although hotel concierge services are mentioned in the list, packages with in-room butlers were not confirmed for the first day.
